What, if I just would take a step back before taking a picture and just take in the whole scenery? Or the colors? Or everything around before pressing the shutter? I agree, that most of the time I would prefer sharp subjects in my pictures. It looks more pleasing to the way of seeing things around us.



But reducing our environment to shapes and color can maybe help us to visualize! Nothing is sharp! There´s no focus point for our eyes. We just stand still for a moment and get a cognitive impression.
